Save. Earn\u201d. GMW hopes to empower young people to manage their money wisely, save for their futures and earn for both themselves and their families.<\/p>\n<p>GMW has a different theme each year. The main aim is for young people to become informed of the risks and threats that exist to their money.<\/p>\n<h2>GMW Ireland daily themes and organisations<\/h2>\n<p>Along with this overarching theme, during GMW 2024, the CCPC will have a different daily theme to highlight how to protect your money and secure your future.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Monday 18 March: <\/strong>Launch of GMW<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tuesday 19 March<\/strong>: Saving, investing and pensions<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wednesday 20 March: <\/strong>Knowing your rights<\/li>\n<li><strong>Thursday 21 March: <\/strong>Fraud and scams<\/li>\n<li><strong>Friday 22 March:<\/strong> Schools programmes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For 2024, there will be a number of organisations in Ireland bringing this theme to life.<\/p>\n<p>These include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/bpfi.ie\/\">BPFI<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/brokersireland.ie\/\">Brokers Ireland<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.centralbank.ie\/regulation\/how-we-regulate\/authorisation\/unauthorised-firms\/avoiding-scams-and-unauthorised-activity\">The Central Bank<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.ie\/en\/organisation\/department-of-finance\/\">The Department of Finance<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fspo.ie\/\">Financial Services and Pensions Ombudsman<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/jai.ie\/\">Junior Achievement Ireland<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/iob.ie\/\">Institute of Banking<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/mabs.ie\/\" class=\"broken_link\">Money Advice &amp; Budgeting Service<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.revenue.ie\/en\/home.aspx\">Revenue<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.euronext.com\/en\/markets\/dublin\">Euronext<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What\u2019s next?<\/h2>\n<p>For GMW this year, young people across Ireland will learn from the various participating organisations about everything from savings and taxes to cryptocurrencies and scams, through podcasts, webinars, quizzes, workshops and school visits.<\/p>\n<p>We hope you\u2019re as excited as we are for GMW, and you enjoy all of the content coming over the next few days!<\/p>\n<p>Check out the <a href=\"https:\/\/globalmoneyweek.org\/\">Global Money Week<\/a> website for more information on what other countries are doing for GMW.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Global Money week (GMW) is a world-wide awareness raising campaign, organised by the OECD\/INFE on the importance of ensuring that young people are financially aware.
