SUPPLEMENTAL<\/strong> AGREEMENT<\/strong> dated<\/strong> the 19th<\/strong> day<\/strong> of<\/strong> July<\/strong> 2016<\/strong><\/p>\n

BETWEEN<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission of O. Box 12585, Dublin 1<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    AND<\/p>\n

    2. The Commission for Communications Regulation of Block DEF, Abbey Court,\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Irish Life Centre, Lower Abbey Street, Dublin 1.<\/p>\n

    WHEREAS<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. The CCPC and ComReg are Parties to the Agreement.<\/li>\n
    2. The CCPC and ComReg wish to vary the terms of the Agreement in the manner provided in this Supplemental Agreement.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      NOW IT IS HEREBY AGREED<\/h2>\n

      1. INTERPRETATION AND DEFINITIONS<\/h2>\n

      In this Supplemental Agreement the following definitions shall apply:<\/p>\n

      “Agreement” means the co-operation agreement entered into between the CCPC and ComReg on 11 November 2015;<\/p>\n

      “CCPC” means the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission;<\/p>\n

      “ComReg” means the Commission for Communications Regulation;<\/p>\n

      “Party” means the CCPC and\/or ComReg, and “Parties” shall be construed accordingly.<\/p>\n

      Clause 11 (Variation of the terms of the Co-operation Agreement) of the Agreement provides that the Agreement may only be varied with the consent of both Parties in writing.<\/p>\n

      In order to address a typographical error in the Agreement, the CCPC and ComReg have agreed to vary the Agreement in the manner provided for herein.<\/p>\n

      2. VARIATION OF THE AGREEMENT<\/h2>\n

      In accordance with Clause 11.2 of the Agreement, the Parties agree that the Agreement is hereby varied such that the reference on page 1 of the Agreement to “section 19 of the Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2015” <\/em>is deleted and replaced with a reference to “section 19 of the Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2014”.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
