The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) is to carry out a full investigation into the proposed purchase by Formpress Publishing of D&D Media. D&D Media are the owners of the Inishowen Independent newspaper in Donegal\u202fand its website inishowenindo.ie. Formpress Publishing owns and operates a number of local and regional newspaper titles across Ireland.<\/p>\n

The proposed transaction\u202f(M\/24\/026<\/a>)\u202fwas notified to the CCPC in April 2024. The CCPC invites submissions from interested parties by email to\u202fmergers@ccpc.ie<\/a>\u202fby 4:30pm on 28 August 2024.<\/p>\n
