As the basis for the programme is the independent nature of the information being delivered, we never recommend a particular product or provider, and this should be considered before volunteering for Money skills for life.<\/p>\n<p>Depending on their designation, volunteer presenters can receive up to one-hour CPD for their participation in delivering talks.<\/p>\n<h3>Our presenters must meet the following requirements:<\/h3>\n<p>Be a Qualified Financial Adviser, have a similar qualification, or have extensive experience in the financial services industry (a minimum of five years).<\/p>\n<p>Attend a full day of training provided by the CCPC either at our offices in Dublin 1 or remotely. The following is covered during training:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overview of Money skills for life (MSFL)<\/li>\n<li>Presentation skills<\/li>\n<li>Tips for dealing with nerves, engaging an audience, and general presenting<\/li>\n<li>FAQs for presenters<\/li>\n<li>Presentations to the group<\/li>\n<li>Evaluation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Previous presenting experience would be desirable but is not a requirement, as the CCPC provides training on engaging with audiences, making consumers feel confident that they know what questions to ask, and motivating them to change their personal finance habits and behaviours.<\/p>\n<p>If you meet the requirements and want to help others improve their financial literacy and wellbeing, contact us by emailing us at <a href=\"mailto:bookings@ccpc.ie\">bookings@ccpc.ie<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our talks are delivered by volunteers who are currently working or have previous experience in the financial services industry.
